html2text software package provides advanced HTML to text converter, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install html2text
html2text is installed in your system.
Make ensure the html2text package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep html2text *
You will get with html2text package name, version, architecture and description in a table
